SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Read Matthew 28:18-20 & Colossians 1:17-19. One word from Jesus changes everything! Knowing this, how can you live in that freedom and authority in your daily life? What do you need to do currently to live in that truth. Where are some areas where you struggle with this? Discuss.

2. Read Galatians 5:22-24, John 5:19, & Romans 8:16-17b. Because we are sons and daughters of the Father, we have the authority to do the same things that He can do.
What are some things that you have inherited from Him? Do you walk in authority in these areas? Discuss a time where you walked in His authority and the outcome of that situation.

3. Read Ephesians 4:4-6, Mark 4:30-40, & Psalms 24. Jesus can calm the storms in our lives with one single word. Discuss some areas of life that you are experiencing some storms or stress in. How can you learn to surrender these things over to Jesus? What is keeping you from letting go?

4. Read Matthew 24:29-31 & Ephesians 2:1-10. None of us are holy or good enough to stand in the presence of God. We all deserve His wrath. Knowing this, how can we know Him or be adopted by Him and be able to surrender our will to Him? How can we really know Jesus? Discuss.
