SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

1. Read John 6:32-35, 48-51. According to these passages,God proved He would provide for us. Do you fully trust that God will provide for you both physically and spiritually? What are some reasons that keep you from trusting Him? Discuss.

2. Read John 8:12. We have the opportunity to live in the light of life that Jesus offers to us. Knowing this, why do people choose to remain in darkness? How can we help shine a light in the darkness of others?

3. Read John 15:1-5 & Galatians 5:22-25. Discuss the purpose of a vine. Why did Jesus use this illustration? What happens when a vine doesn't bear fruit? Discuss a time when you had a spiritual "pruning." What was the outcome? What are some fruits of the spirit you find yourself lacking in?

4. Read John 15:9-11. What is Jesus asking us to do specifically in this passage? How can we accomplish that? What is the difference between joy and happiness? Discuss.

5. Take a few minutes to meditate personally on exactly what Jesus wants for you. Pray over these things as a group.
