The Apple Of God's Eye
SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
1. Read Deuteronomy 32:9-10 & Psalms 17:6-8. What exactly does it mean to be the "apple" of God's eye? How does he love and protect us?
2. Read Matthew 7:24-27 & Psalm 128. God wants us to be fruitful and multiply. In order to do that, we need to have a healthy foundation. What does this mean in practical terms? How can we multiply? How can we be assured that our foundation is solid? Discuss.
3. Read Genesis 12:1-3. God's covenant with Abraham is for us too. What exactly is this covenant and what does it mean for us?
4. Read Genesis 15:5-6. God has promises for all of us. Take a moment to reflect on His promises for your life. What are some of them that He has already fulfilled? What are some promises that He has not yet manifested in your life? Discuss them with the group.
5. Read Genesis 2:16-17, Romans 5:8, Revelation 2:7, & Revelations 22:1-2. Are there areas in your life that are still under the tree of knowledge instead of the tree of life? What are some of these things that you are currently struggling with?
6. Read 1 John 5:12. How can we "choose life" every day? What are practical things that we can do? Discuss.
