SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1. Read Genesis 1:1-3 & Genesis 1:26-28. God made us first in order to have unity with Him and then with each other. As His sons and daughters, we have the authority to rule the earth and to thrive. Discuss some areas in your home where you are not living in that dominion and authority. What can you do to change that?

2. Read Genesis 2:18-20 & Genesis 2:21-22. We aren't designed to fulfill our purpose alone. What we lack, God has ordained for a partner to fulfill in us. If you are married, how does your mate fulfill these things. Discuss. If you are single, what are some things you are looking for that will help you fulfill your purpose?

3. Read Genesis 2:23 & Genesis 2:24-25. When a man and woman become married, they become ONE FLESH. What exactly does this mean? Discuss some areas where you think this could be difficult in a relationship. How can you become ONE with someone who is different than you?

4. Read Malachi 2:15 & Revelation 21:1-2. Marriage relfects the Godhead - three in one. How can your marriage or your personal relationships or your future marriage reflect His image, represent Him, Reproduce Him, and Remain in Him? Discuss as a group.
