The Grace Of Giving

SERMON DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

1.Read Luke 10:2, 2 Corinthians 8:1-3, & 2 Corinthians 8:6-7. God wants us to excel in giving. How can you personally improve in that area? If you are already generous, how can you increase that generosity?

2.Read 2 Corinthians 8:9-14 & 2 Corinthians 8:10-14. How often do we not finish the things that we start? How can we keep up the same energy to continue giving faithfully as the way we begin with enthusiasm? Why is this important? Discuss as a group.

3.Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. What does this passage mean exactly? What crops are we planting as Christians? If God gives generously to us, shouldn’t we emulate that behavior? What stops us from doing so. Discuss.

4.Read Genesis 12:2-3 & Luke 12:48b. What are some promises that the Lord has given you? Talk about those promises with each other and edify one another!
